In Sonic Forces, both were members of the underground Resistance.
They both cheered on the Sonics at the climax of the game. Sonic and his Classic counterpart free them later on. In Sonic Generations, they attended Sonic’s birthday party and were sucked into the void. Later, they separately took on Neo Metal Sonic. Their teams confront each other in Grand Metropolis. In Sonic Heroes, they were on rivaling teams. Both have little interaction with each other. In Sonic Adventure, Amy is aged up and was given new attire. Tails and Amy are competitors in the later Classic-era games Sonic Drift, Sonic Drift 2, Sonic R, and Sonic the Fighters. The first game which both appear is in Sonic the Hedgehog’s Gameworld, where they can be chosen by the player(s), along with Sonic, and compete against Dr.
